Not That Again

My job is hurting me physically. I know that sounds dramatic, but it's true. Part of my job is writing letters, lots of them, and I write them by typing them out. I can handle a moderate amount of typing without a problem, but the amount that I do is too much for my left arm. I had wrist surgery to fix torn cartilage over three years ago and the rest of my arm was damaged somewhat as a result of the injury. My arm will never be the same.

I've noticed recently that I'm feeling a type of pain and weakness in my arm that I haven't felt for a long time. And it's disheartening and a bit scary. I got my hair cut today and sitting there with my arm resting at my side I felt pain I haven't felt since before or right after my surgery.

Something has got to give. I guess I'm going to have to start dictating my letters; not a great option for a very visual person, but my arm needs a break. Just another reason for finding another job.

Father's Day

It was a fun day. Took Dad to the Angels/ Dodgers baseball game. It was fun. Nathaniel and Abby couldn't join us, but they got to hang out with Dad afterward. :)

Play Straight With Me

What drives me crazy is when someone says something one minute but then says something else another. All of a sudden the person is acting like I'm dumb for what I'm doing. Sorry for listening to you and believing you. Next time I won't listen to you.

Also I can't stand it when I'm told to do something in all seriousness, but then all of a sudden the person is joking. And this isn't when the request is something ridiculous. And then I'm a big joke and the person is laughing at me. So frustrating.

What happened to treating people the way you want to be treated? Is being respectful old fashioned?

My Office

Here it is-my office. Actually you're only seeing my desk. Okay then, here's my desk. And the window behind it and my bulletin board. Anyway...when you think about me at work, you can picture me here.
