Dreaming

I love, love, love this whole blogging from flickr. So glad I remembered to ask Megan about how she was posting pictures on her blogs.

Anyway, I love photography and traveling (not that I know much about photography or get to travel often). But this picture tells it all. It's so beautiful and I'm dying to get to Hawaii. Ahh, I can't wait until I can make it there! Something to dream about.

Stuck in a Rut

That's how I feel right now. Just stuck. I have plans and goals, but they have started to overwhelm me. A lot of my time is spent figuring out what to do, which results in me not getting much of anything done.

I had an interview last week and I thought things on the job searching front would pick up, but I've slowed down in my efforts. It just seems like a monumental task. But I'm going to get on it. I've updated my cover letter and I'm going to a job seminar tonight at school. I'm hoping I get some good ideas on how to proceed with my job searching. Also I think the speaker might help me with how to network, which scares me on some level.

Here's to getting out of the mud!

Stuff

I need to be more consistent in my posting. One of my many talents is procrastinating...

Twilight

Soon I'm going to really blog about Twilight - the movie and books. I have very strong reactions to them and Megan keeps telling me to blog about it. I want to wait until I finish Breaking Dawn before gushing on and on. Usually what happens is I start to feel bogged down by the book while reading it, have to take at least one break from it, and finally finish it. I usually make my opinions know throughout the whole reading process. Now Breaking Dawn is so much different than the other books and I can't find my balance with it. I don't know what I think about it yet...I'm on page 374 and I still have almost another 400 pages to go - I think that is totally ridiculous! Stephenie Meyer hasn't earned the right to write such a huge book. Ahhh! Okay, rant over. I feel like throwing the book though. (Megan, don't worry, I won't throw your book!) I think I'm going to have to take a break from reading it because I'm starting to lose my grip on reality, which isn't pleasant. Tomorrow I'm going to Disneyland for my brother's birthday, so I'll have to take a break from reading. Yeah!

Hmmm...

It's kind of strange, but I can't really remember what Disneyland looks like after dark without the Christmas decorations. Megan and I went to Disneyland the day the Christmas decorations went up to celebrate that I passed the bar and I've been many times since then. I know I'm making it sound like I only been there during the Christmas holidays, but that is far from true. I've had my pass for many years and often I've gone more during the summer. I'll have to go to Disneyland soon and refresh my memory that it still looks magical without the Christmas lights and decorations.

What's Up

Life has been regulating itself. Christmas break is over so I'm back to driving Perry during the day. And I have an interview coming up Jan. 22 with the LADA. Also I'm working at applying to more places. It's nice that I can see some progress being made; I just have to keep it up.
